Powertex room decoration

Difficulty: easy
Description: Plug the ellipses on the base. Apply the ivory Powertex and the StoneArt onto the styrofoam disk. Cut 2 30 cm long jute ribbons and glue it allong the side of the styrofoam disk. Decorate it with the Bister. Fix the styrofoam disk with wire in the middle of the ellipse. Mix the StoneArt with the Powertex and form circles in variouse sizes. Glue them on the styrofoam and decorate them with the Pigments and the jewellery stone glue. Dip 6-8 piece of the kitchen roll into the bronze Powertex and wrap it arround the edge of the ellipse. Dip the wooden parts into the Powertex and cover the edge of the ellipse with it. Let it dry and varnish it.

Powertex vase

Sockel, Styroporei, Pigment, Powertex, StoneArt Pulver

Difficulty: hard
Description: Cut the Styrofoamdisk and iron it with the hot air blower. Cut the bottom side of the egg and cut a hole into the upper side. Plug the disk and the egg onto the base and glue it with the less temperature glue on it. cut the foil in the size of 35×20 cm and glue it arround the glass. Plug the glass into the egg. Apply the ivory Powertex and the StoneArt on the whole vase and highlighten it with the pigments. Mix the ochre Powertex and the StoneArt and apply it on the vase. Stamp some motives on the upper part of the vase and highlighten it with the pigments. Let it dry and varnish it.

Craft tip of the month April 2014

Styropor, Buchenrundstäbe, Aludraht, Powertex, Pigment

Difficulty: hard
Description: Plug the wooden disk into the styrofoam base. Cut 2x 40 cm from the wire and wrap it together and bend it to an arch. Cut a 10 cm broad stripe from the textile, mix the grew Powertex with the dark pigments and put the textile into it. Put it onto the arch and let it dry. Apply the silver pigments. Apply the red Powertex on the styrfoam medaillon, the ball and the grew Powertex on the socket. Settle highlights with the red and brown pigments and glue the medaillon and the ball on the arch and the base.

Standard lamp with flower motive

Aludraht, Wachsband, Powertex, Styroporscheibe, Papier

Difficulty: hard
Description: Make a hole in one of the styrofoam plates. Glue the lamp on the styrofoam plate and glue the one with the hole on it. Cover it with the structure paste. Cut 8 pieces of wire (30 cm each) and bend it. Glue them on the plate and fix the lamp with the wire. Plug the sticks into the plate. Apply the structure paste and paint the sticks with white color. Glue the foil on it. Make hole with the puncher into them and connect them with the wax thread. Decorate it with natural color by using the Powertex. Decorate the edges with the Bister technique.
